This privacy policy describes how the CIOCV 2026 conference app collects, uses, and protects your personal information. It applies only to the conference app and not to any other website or service operated by the organizers.

• Name and email address, provided during registration and used to sign you in when you scan your badge.
• Sponsor booth visits — when you collect a stamp in the app's passport feature, we record which sponsor booths you have visited.
• Voting selections — your choices for best poster and best paper.

How we use it

• To authenticate you and let you use the conference app.
• To track your passport progress so you can see which sponsor booths you have visited.
• To tally votes for the best poster and best paper awards.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the conference organizers and the technical platform required to operate the app. Aggregated, non-identifying voting results may be shared with sponsors and organizers.

Retention

We keep your data for the duration of the conference and a reasonable period afterward for reporting purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
